Senior Dietitian

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Dietitian to join a reputable public hospital in North Dublin. This role is centred on providing exceptional dietary care and rehabilitation support for adults and older persons, focusing on improving patient outcomes and promoting optimal health through tailored nutritional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for adult and older patients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualised nutrition care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient rehabilitation.
• Provide expert nutritional advice and education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as a Dietitian.
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Proven expertise in adult and older person’s rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• CORU Registration
