Down Syndrome Centre CLG Trading as Together Academy is looking for a full-time Further Education Teacher to join our team. Responsible for designing and delivering post-secondary educational programmes tailored to students beyond the minimum school-leaving age, with a particular focus on learners with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities; developing and implementing accessible curricula and lesson plans that support academic, vocational, and personal development goals in line with educational and industry standards.
Candidate should be holding a qualification in the relevant subject area, possessing practical teaching experience with post-secondary students (ideally those with learning disabilities), and holding or currently pursuing an appropriate teaching qualification.Having excellent communication skills, demonstrating patience, creativity, and adaptability, and showing commitment to inclusive education are all critical qualities for this role.
35k per year for 35h per week
