Project Engineer

Large Midlands based production company currently recruiting for a hands-on Projects Engineer to lead factory improvement and maintenance projects in a modern, state-of-the-art production facility.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you’ll manage a small team of welders and electricians, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
As Project Engineer you job will include:
- Lead a team of fabrication welders and electricians
- Plan and oversee CapEx projects from start to finish
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all works
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate upgrades smoothly
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot fabrication and electrical issues
- Coordinate external contractors where needed
- Track budgets, timelines, and document all project activity
What You Bring:
- Experience managing CapEx or engineering projects in industrial or manufacturing environments
- A background in stainless steel fabrication, welding, and electrical systems would be highly advantageous
- Confident using AutoCAD and MS Office
- Proven leadership experience with excellent communication and planning skills
- Relevant technical qualification
- Excellent salary (negotiable doe on experience ) pension and bonus structure
