Part-Time Healthcare Assistant – Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny

FRS Recruitment is seeking compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for a part-time agency role in a small, low-dependency elderly care home supporting 10 residents. The home offers a calm, person-centred environment and a supportive team culture.

What’s on Offer:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care and daily activities
• Providing emotional and social support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Supporting a warm, home-like environment

Requirements:

• Minimum FETAC Level 5 (QQI) Healthcare Support – all 8 modules completed
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. nursing home, hospital, or home care)
• Kind, dependable, and flexible approach
• A genuine passion for supporting older adults

This role requires full compliance in line with HSE/private healthcare standards:

• Garda Vetting
• Satisfactory references
• Mandatory training certificates
• Occupational health clearance
• International police clearnance (if applicable)
