We are currently recruiting an Assistant Deli Manager to join a busy and successful deli team within a well-established service station in Co. Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced deli or food retail professional seeking to take the next step in their career in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Deli Manager in the daily operations of the deli
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
• Supervise, lead, and motivate team members to deliver excellent performance
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and stock management
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
• Monitor waste, margins, and portion control to maximise efficiency
• Take responsibility for deli operations in the Manager’s absence

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a deli, food service, or food retail environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a busy, fast-paced setting
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends
• Well-organised, reliable, and customer-focused
