IT OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR New
My client is a leading high profile state sponsored body who are currently looking to hire an IT Operations & Security Administrator.
The successful candidate will be actively engaged in the administration and support of IT infrastructure, information services, business
solutions and web applications.
Reporting to the IT Operations & Security Manager, the primary role
of the IT Operations & Security Administrator is to assist in managing and maintain the critical IT functions. The IT Operations &
Security Administrator will also contribute to the governance of IT Security, Risk, Change, Incident and Business Continuity Management.
More specifically under the following key aspects of the role;
the individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
IT OPERATIONS- Monitoring the performance of IT operations.
- Monitoring & reporting on security status & alerts.
- Monitoring & reporting on data availability, integrity, replication & backup.
- Monitoring the IT service providers performance against SLAs.
- Managing the IT operations checklists.
- Managing the testing schedule to ensure the performance of tests, recording of test results and independent review and approval.
- Assisting in procurement & tendering processes.
- Writing & reviewing standard operating procedures.
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, process & efficiency improvements.
- Contributing to the co-ordination and delivery of IT projects.
