About the Role

Thomas Patrick Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in Emyvale who are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join their team. This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in joinery, bespoke furniture, or commercial fit-out projects.

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for joinery, furniture, and commercial fit-out projects.
• Prepare and update technical drawings, layouts, and schematics in line with project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy and buildability.
• Translate design concepts into working drawings for manufacture and installation.
• Carry out site surveys and create accurate as-built drawings where required.
• Maintain document control and drawing registers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety requirements, and company procedures.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with SolidWorks, Revit, or similar CAD packages desirable).
• Proven experience in joinery, furniture design, or the commercial fit-out industry.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret architect/engineer drawings and produce accurate manufacturing details.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
• Relevant qualification in Design, Drafting, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
