The Opportunity

My client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team, supporting key business units. This is a highly visible role where you will contribute to planning cycles, deliver financial insights, and drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Analyse departmental spending and ensure accurate expense recognition with appropriate journal entries.
  • Provide clear, data-backed insights to support cost management and investment decisions.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary for management reporting.
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes, reporting, and efficiencies.
  • Support ad-hoc requests and develop new opportunities for financial analysis across general & administrative areas.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial planning & analysis; experience in global expense planning preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated use of data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent Excel skills; SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting findings across all levels of an organisation.
  • Collaborative team player with initiative to work independently.
  • Process improvement mindset with experience enhancing workflows or reporting.
