Maintenance Fitter – Cork

Days only role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. – Maintain motors, gearboxes, chain drives,. Fabrication
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks where required. Operational Support & Process Improvement – Support plant upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain automated equipment (e.g., conveyors and wrapping machines).
• Recommend system/process modifications to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Complete all CMMS entries (e.g., SAP) accurately and on time.
• Participate in and support LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out) procedures.
• Document spare part usage to maintain effective stock levels.
• Calibrate and maintain pneumatic systems. Qualifications & Experience – Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship (MAMF) or equivalent qualification.
• 2–5+ years of post-apprenticeship experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Experience in machine shop operations is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Proficient with SAP or other CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools. – Solid understanding of GMP/cGMP, LOTO, and plant safety practices.
• Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in fast-paced environments.
• Day shift Monday to Friday and overtime may be required based on operational needs. Personal Attributes
