i-FIT all Female, Software Development Associate Apprenticeship

FIT have an exciting opportunity for female tech enthusiasts living in CORK and surrounding areas. We are now accepting applicants for the i-FIT programme, with an opportunity to work with a leading company based in CORK. Successful candidates will be required to attend a number of in-person training days in DUBLIN throughout the two year programme.

Overview

The Software Development Apprenticeship is a two

It is a dual-education programme involving both college-based and workplace learning.

• Year 1 and €408 per week
• Year 2) from their employer while on the tech apprenticeship programme.

• Training is fully-funded, and learners earn a salary from the very beginning
• Gain hands-on technical experience with top companies in Ireland
• Successful completion of all modules on this programme results in the attainment of a Quality and Qualifications Ireland-accredited Advanced Certificate in Software Development, which is placed at Level Six on the National Framework of Qualifications
• On successful completion of the programme, qualified apprentices have the potential to progress into full-time positions with their employers or in some cases with a new technology employer.
• Develop business and interpersonal skills such as teamwork, customer-facing skills and project management

• Must be 18 years or older
• Will be required to complete an initial aptitude test
• Must have achieved a passing grade (or O6/H7) in 5 or more subjects, including Mathematics and English (both at Ordinary Level or above), in the Irish Leaving Certificate
• Must be eligible to participate in Further Education and Training programmes
• Must be entitled to study and work in Ireland
• Please note, there are some in-person days required in Dublin for this tech apprenticeship programme.
