Horticulture Worker

Old Mill Construction Limited located at Mallow, Co. Cork is seeking 4 skilled and reliable Horticulture Workers to support landscape development and plant cultivation. The role involves planting, maintaining, and managing horticultural areas using professional techniques and equipment.

• Planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising trees, shrubs, and plants
• Soil preparation, turfing, and mulching
• Identification and treatment of plant diseases and pests
• Operating horticultural machinery (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
• Installing and maintaining irrigation and drainage systems
• Assisting in landscape development projects
• Monitoring plant health and growth conditions
• Ensuring safe use of tools and compliance with health & safety regulations

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in horticulture / landscaping
• Basic knowledge of plant care and soil management
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery
• Good physical fitness
• Basic English communication skills

Yearly Remuneration for this role is €32,691.00 based on 39 hours per week work.
