Associate Director, Business Risk Management

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading international Financial Services organisation to recruit an Associate Director within their Business Risk team.

This is a senior first line of defence role focused on strengthening the non-financial risk framework. You will play a key role in delivering core risk and control activities, providing oversight, challenge, and governance across business lines, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders and global teams to support effective risk management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver core operational risk activities, including risk and control assessments, control effectiveness reviews, and risk event analysis
• Provide first line oversight across trading and banking activities, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory expectations
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to identify risks, assess control gaps, and implement mitigation strategies
• Support governance processes, including risk reporting, committee engagement, and escalation of key risk issues
