Project Manager – Roofing (Galway)

About the Role

Our client, a well-established specialist roofing contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee roofing projects in Galway and the wider West of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to join a professional and fast-growing construction contractor.

• Manage day-to-day operations of roofing projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors.
• Monitoring, detailing, and quality control across all roofing systems, particularly flat roofing.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures; carry out site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain accurate safety and project documentation.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal management teams.
• Order and manage materials efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve installation challenges.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain strong communication across all levels.
• Perform hands-on duties on site when required (role requires good physical fitness).

• At least 5 year's experience in roofing site or project management.
• Strong knowledge of flat roofing and traditional roofing systems.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety compliance and documentation.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate technical details.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Full clean driving licence and own transport (essential).
• Must supply own tools.
• Flexibility to travel to additional sites across the West of Ireland after the Galway project.

• Attractive salary (€65,000–€70,000, negotiable depending on experience).
• 20 days annual leave.
