Maintenance Technician - Naas, Kildare

Morgan McKinley is excited to be partnering with our Kildare based client looking for a skilled Mainteance Technician to join their growing team. This is a role that include a great oppotunity to learn and grow in a FMCG type environment. Please be aware this is a morning and shift based role.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a prior background in manufacturing and FMCG . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art high tech manufacturing equipment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise production downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedule to prevent equipment failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements to equipment and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensuring the site is audit ready at all times.

Requirements:

• Level 6 or Higher in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Proven experience (2 years preferred) as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
