Location: Unit 48, Eastlink Business Park, Ballysimon Road, Limerick - V94R773 / and various locations around Limerick County and Region as client’s necessities.
Salary: €34,000 per year
Working Hours: 39h per week
Key Responsibilities:- Install and route CAT6A and fibre optic cabling in commercial and industrial environments.
- Perform termination and connectorisation of network infrastructure components.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance of installed cabling systems to meet technical and safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction and technical teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare surfaces and apply insulation materials where required, leveraging electromechanical knowledge.
- Desirable experience in structured cabling installation, including CAT6A and fibre optics, however training will be provided.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure standards and cabling best practices.
- Ability to use testing equipment for cable certification and troubleshooting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and relevant safety certifications.
- Background in Electromechanical Technology or similar technical field is an advantage.
