About St. Monica’s Youth Resource Centre
St. Monica’s Youth Resource Centre is a volunteer-led organisation providing vital youth and community services to the young people and families of Edenmore and the surrounding areas. The Centre is approved for 20 Community Employment (C.E.) participants, with several participants seconded to five sub-sponsor organisations across Edenmore, Killester, and Kilbarrack.
The Community Employment (CE) programme is designed to help people who are long-term unemployed (or otherwise disadvantaged) to get back to work by offering part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within the local community.
Role Overview (Full Job Specification Supplied on Request)
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Community Employment (C.E.) Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the human, financial, and material resources of the Community Employment Programme.This includes ensuring compliance with all Department of Social Protection (DSP) guidelines and maximising the programme’s benefits for participants and St. Monica’s Youth Resource Centre.
The role also involves ongoing recruitment, administration, financial management, training coordination, and overall responsibility for project delivery, reporting directly to the C.E. Project Management Committee.
Essential Experience and Qualifications:A minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in Administration, Project Management, Training, or a similar relevant field.
A major award at QQI Level 6 (or higher) in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Project Management, Community Development, or a related discipline.
Terms of Employment:Full-time position: 39 hours per week
Salary: In line with DSP funding, commencing at Point 1 of the 4-point scale
Continued employment is subject to ongoing DSP funding
