Est. 1997 - one of Leinster's leading Drainage and Environmental contractors has a permanent technical position available for a Waste Water Service Engineer to join our large multidisciplinary team.
Role: Assist with new installs and/or existing asset repairs and commissioning primarily on our growing portfolio of major Blue-Chip clients, SME's and leading FM companies. Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of assigned equipment/assets in accordance with maintenance schedule and specifications.Additional experience in maintenance/plumbing/industrial control panels a distinct advantage. Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Place of Employment: Primarily in Dublin with a requirement to work in all areas of the country as required.Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday
On Call: You will be required to work on the ‘On Call’ roster. Due to the emergency nature of the work, it is a condition of service that you work reasonable overtime as and when required.
Requirements: Qualification
Time served craft apprenticeship qualification preferred but not essential as we will consider newly qualified candidates who possess the right attitude.Willingness and ability to obtain a QQI Level 6 qualification in Industrial Electrical Systems within first 12 months of employment (paid in full by company).
Valid Safe Pass, manual handling cert & confined space cert (preferred but training provided for right candidate)
Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and competency
An energetic hands on self-starter
Strong attention to detail and concern for health & safety standards with a keen results orientation
Computer literate
Completely comfortable working within the drainage industry and the associated environs
Strong aptitude for problem solving
Applicants should possess good organisational, communication and reporting skills
Must be fully flexible in relation to potential overtime, on-call and early starts
Minimum full clean B licence, Excellent command of the English language essential (written and spoken)
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude is essential
