General Operative - Laboratory Background - Sample Reception/Punching

We at Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with a client who are seeking General Operatives with a laboratory background to join their Sample Reception/Punching Department. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, laboratory-focused environment.

• Receive and prepare BVD samples for processing
• Follow internal procedures and complete required training
• Carry out daily tasks as directed by the laboratory manager or supervisor
• Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates will:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required
• Meet set targets and deadlines
• Have basic computer skills
• Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
• Have full right to work within Ireland.
• Live in Co. Kildare or be able to reliably commute to the site

• Initially Tuesday to Friday (4-day week)
• During peak periods, Monday and Saturday may also be required
• Approximately 4 Saturdays depending on sample volumes

• Gain experience in a laboratory operations role
• Work within a supportive, team-oriented environment
• Temporary contract with potential to extend
