Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Urlingford Community Centre require a Building Caretaker/GroundskeeperKey Responsibilities
Building Care & Maintenance
Open and lock the building as required
Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., changing bulbs, fixing small faults)
Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems
Report major maintenance issues to management
Ensure the premises are clean, safe, and well maintained
Grounds Maintenance
Sweep and keep outdoor areas tidy
Trim hedges and shrubs
Remove litter from grounds and car parks
Maintain outdoor bins and waste areas
Health & Safety
Carry out regular safety checks of the building and grounds
Identify and report hazards promptly
Ensure walkways and entrances are safe and accessible
Follow health and safety policies at all times
Use tools and equipment safely
Security Duties
Monitor the premises for security issues
Check doors, windows, and gates
Respond to alarm activations if required
Report suspicious activity
Cleaning Support (if required)
Assist with light cleaning of common areas
Set up and clear rooms for events or activities
Support cleaners when needed
Skills & Qualities: Practical maintenance skills
