Here at Osborne, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator on behalf of one of our clients within the public sector, based fully on-site at a warehouse facility in Citywest Business Campus, Co. Dublin.Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and logistics function. Following an initial training period, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and will provide operational, administrative and logistical support across the department.
The role also involves participation in logistics-related projects and general departmental support as required.
Location: Citywest, Co. Dublin (Fully on-site)Contract: Up to 3-month Temporary position
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: €19.50 per hour
Hours: 35-hour week (Monday–Thursday: 9am-5:15pm & Friday: 9am-5pm)
Key Responsibilities: Warehouse & Housekeeping
Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards across the warehouse, walkways, yard and storage areasEnsure waste is removed and disposed of appropriately
Keep workspaces safe, tidy and free from hazards
Inbound Operations
Receive, check and store inbound materialsAccurately record all inbound shipments using warehouse systems and Excel
File and scan inbound shipment documentation
Communicate inbound shipments to relevant internal stakeholders
Outbound Operations
Pick, pack and prepare outbound orders to required quality standardsCreate and manage outbound shipments via courier and vendor portals
Maintain accurate records across internal systems and spreadsheets
Communicate shipment details to internal and external customers
Systems & Administration
Process inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse and logistics systemsUpdate inventory, asset registers and service records
Create and complete purchase orders
Place online orders with suppliers
Stock Control
Conduct inventory counts and reconciliationsMaintain organised stock storage
Manage disposal of obsolete or condemned stock in an environmentally responsible manner
Participate in full stock takes and asset checks, including travel when required
Equipment & Servicing
Support equipment servicing activitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound equipment for servicing
Update service records and assist service providers on site
Deliver and collect equipment on an ad hoc basis
Communication & Customer Service
Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external customersProvide a high standard of customer and stakeholder service
Safety & Facilities
Adhere to all health and safety proceduresAct as trained fire warden for the site
Participate in safety audits, inspections and evacuation drills
Report and coordinate facilities and maintenance issues
Liaise with contractors and maintain facilities logs
Vehicles
Assist with allocation, collection and return of fleet and hire vehiclesManage vehicle documentation (tax and insurance discs)
Support vehicle maintenance and garage visits as required
General
Support ad hoc operational tasksAttend training as required
Key Requirements:
Leaving Certificate (NFQ Level 5) or equivalent is essentialFull category B driving licence valid in Ireland is essential
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics administrative role is essential
Previous experience working in and understanding of accounts/bookkeeping is essential
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team-focused, flexible and adaptable approach
High levels of confidentiality and professionalism
Strong commitment to delivering a high-quality customer and stakeholder experience
Experience working in a large, complex or public sector organisation is desirable
Ability to quickly adapt to change is desirable
