Trainee / PQ / NQ Accountant
Our client is seeking a Trainee / PQ / NQ Accountant to join their busy Finance Team based in Bandon, Co. Cork. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate, part-qualified, or newly qualified accountant who is eager to develop their career within a large, forward-thinking organisation.The position comes with strong mentoring, career progression, and study support for professional exams.
Working closely with the Finance Team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of finance functions while supporting the preparation of weekly and monthly accounts.
Location: Bandon, Co. Cork (onsite, free parking)Salary: DOE
Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Duties will include:
Registering and reconciling sales invoicesSupplier statement reconciliations
Processing and requesting credit notes
Bank reconciliations
VAT, VIES and Intrastat returns
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
Assisting with weekly and monthly management accounts
Resolving invoice queries and providing financial support across the business
What We’re Looking For:
A recent finance/accounting graduate, trainee accountant, or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)Strong Excel skills and attention to detail – essential
Good communication and time management skills
A proactive, team-oriented approach.
