Overview:

We are seeking a commercially driven, results-oriented Retail Sales and Operations Manager to lead our growth in the Republic of Ireland. This is a high-impact role for a natural sales leader who thrives on building relationships, growing brand presence, and delivering measurable results.

You will treat your territory like your own business—owning the customer experience, driving local sales, and building brand awareness. You’ll lead a passionate team, engage deeply with the community, and be the face of Wiltshire Farm Foods in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Sales Growth & Brand Awareness
  • Lead the charge in growing market share and expanding customer base across ROI.
  • Build and execute a local sales strategy aligned with national goals.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new customer opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Champion the brand through local marketing, events, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor campaigns for the Irish market.
  1. Build and Lead a High-Performing Sales Team
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a customer-focused, sales-driven team.
  • Set clear performance targets and coach the team to exceed them.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team delivers exceptional service that turns customers into advocates.
  1. Community and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Establish strong relationships with:
  • Healthcare professionals
  • Community organisations
  • Local authorities and hospitals
  • Position WFF as a trusted partner in supporting independent living.
  1. Commercial & Operational Excellence
  • Own the P&L for the territory, with a focus on profitable growth.
  • Monitor and manage key cost levers: labour, logistics, marketing, and depot operations.
  • Use data to drive decisions and continuously improve performance.
  • Report monthly on sales, customer growth, and financial performance.

Qualifications/Personal Qualities:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally in a retail, FMCG, or healthcare environment.
  • A self-starter with a strong commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Passionate about customer service and making a difference in people’s lives.
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing a P&L and delivering against ambitious growth targets.

You must have held a manual driving licence for at least 2 years.
