Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
This role is based at Gorey Community Hospital and involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and delivery of a stimulating activity programme for individual patients and groups. The programme will be developed in collaboration with the on-site Occupational Therapist and Nurse in Charge.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate a variety of therapeutic and recreational activities, such as music therapy, creative arts and crafts
- Reading sessions, observational materials, and interactive/board games
- Support the organisation with social events on the ward
- Being mindful of each patient's individual needs and abilities
- Participate in any training required for the role
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
