Senior Manager Financial Risk Quality Assurance

Morgan McKinley is partnered with a Leading International Financial Services entity to recruit a Senior Manager within Risk Quality Assurance with a focus on Financial Risk.

This senior second line role combines responsibility for independent assurance over regulatory reporting with ongoing risk oversight across Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Interest Rate Risk activities. The position is central to evaluating the strength of regulatory controls and providing confidence in the accuracy and integrity of submissions made to regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Second line quality assurance for key regulatory submissions, ensuring robust oversight of Tier 1 returns
• Independently test and validate critical data inputs within regulatory reports
• Provide effective oversight and challenge across Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Interest Rate Risk exposures within Capital Markets and Treasury

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive knowledge of banking regulation relating to market risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and capital adequacy
• Practical experience reviewing and challenging Tier 1 regulatory returns and the underlying data sources
• Strong decision-making capability with the confidence to provide independent challenge
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills
