Application Details

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Busy well-established childcare centre St Andrew’s Childcare Centre is looking for a Childcare assistant to join the team. This is an opportunity to work in the early years education sector while attaining you qualification as training and mentoring is provided.
Located in the city centre on Pearse Street, Dublin 2. This position is a part-time Community Employment (CE) job, so you will need to be receiving an eligible Social Welfare payment. The lowest weekly CE pay rate is €271.50, regardless of your current Social Welfare payment (you would give up your Social Welfare payment to transfer to the CE one).
You will not lose any extra benefits you now receive from Social Welfare like Fuel Allowance.
