C.O.D Plant and Civil Engineering Limited is seeking a Cost Analyst to support financial monitoring and cost control across construction projects. The role involves analysing project costs, tracking budgets, and assisting management with financial performance reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial visibility.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse project costs, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare cost reports and cost summaries.
- Monitor budgets and track expenditure.
- Perform cost variance analysis and identify cost overruns.
- Reconcile supplier invoices with project allocations and timesheets.
- Support monthly financial and cost reporting.
- Maintain costing data within accounting systems, including Sage.
- Assist with project profitability analysis.
- Support cost forecasting.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Knowledge of cost analysis and financial reporting.
- Experience with Excel and accounting systems (Sage) is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Experience in a construction or civil engineering environment is advantageous but not essential.
