Sustainable Sourcing Specialist - Procurement New

Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are seeking a Sustainable Sourcing Specialist to join the team for a 6 month fixed term contract. This role carries a hybrid working model.
Roles & Responsibilities with internal focus- Drive continuous improvement in supplier engagement KPI through:
- Support and update Pfizer spend analysis with the analytics & insights teams by Quarter
- Identify top Suppliers/CMOs and segment by procurement categories
- Share prioritization with NZ Champions to improve SBTi % and validate commitment at risk
- Point of Contact for Supplier inquiries on Pfizer NZ program, supplier initiatives, and SBTi
- Propose to SEO the evaluation of suppliers asking for “science-aligned” targets out of SBTi
- Elevate GBS/SES profile for NZ through internal training & start engagement with site colleagues
- Develop & maintain the Supplier Impact team’s SharePoint site
- Support preparation for ESG supplier summit and SBTi: Call-to-Action events
- Create standardized Supplier Engagement Playbooks for sourcing teams & colleagues to use in SRM or RFx discussions
- Use AI to segment suppliers by emissions and identify key partners for strategic engagement and track progress
- Analyse, summarize, and present information in digestible formats (PPT, Excel, Word)
- Contribute to the internal discussions on supplier impact strategy / 2030 roadmap
- Coordinate with the broader NZ team (ES Law, SEO, Analytics & Insights) for accurate data presentation, communication, and reporting
- Support the execution of the Supplier Impact team budget and keep detailed record of costs
- Facilitate procurement processes for supplier engagement initiatives (PRs & POs, supplier contact)
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, legal requirements, regulations and ordinances
- Work with the business to fully integrate sustainable sourcing practices within the overall sourcing process
- Support global Scope 3 Working Groups and Multi Stakeholder Initiatives across the ESG portfolio
- Manage supplier communication related to externally facing events (SPP, PSCI, Energize, Call-to-Action etc.)
- Drive internal & external supplier engagement efforts, including Suppliers training, workshops & recognition programs
- Engage with PSCI – Subgroup: SBTi as a Service and Energize Program to explore opportunities for Pfizer suppliers and participate to the relevant RFI/RFP activities
- Oversee SPP initiatives & events while closely working with the peer SPP Pharma co-chair
- Actively support content creation and promotion of SPP, PSCI and Energize initiatives as well as engage with Suppliers to review contents in slides or articles before external publication.
- Develop new supplier relationships, such as working with suppliers to identify new opportunities between the supplier and Pfizer including consortium sourcing and non-competitive knowledge sharing (e.g. TFS and MyGreen Lab)
- Keep up-to-date on external best practices and relevant changes to the field/area; communicate updates to leadership
