About the Opportunity

Cpl Recruitment is looking to hire a Salesforce Developer on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative technology team responsible for delivering and enhancing Salesforce solutions that support critical business processes and integrations.

Working closely with Salesforce Analysts, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions while contributing to ongoing platform improvements and technical best practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative platform tools
• Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using APIs and middleware technologies
• Configure and customise Salesforce objects, automation, workflows, flows, and data models
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality platform delivery and testing standards
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve platform issues, defects, and performance challenges
• Contribute to coding standards, platform governance, and development best practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and integration specifications
• Support ongoing platform stability, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives

• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and SOSL
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and data modelling
• Experience developing and supporting integrations with third-party systems
• Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools including Flows, validation rules, and automation features
• Good understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permissions, and sharing models
• Experience using version control systems and structured release management processes
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
