Sky Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Chef in Co. Cavan. We are seeking an experienced and reliable professional to join a busy and quality-driven kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, a good understanding of kitchen operations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard, following recipes and portion controls
• Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen in accordance with HACCP regulations
• Assist with stock control, rotation, and ordering as required
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Contribute to menu planning and specials when requested

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a chef role within a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong food preparation and presentation skills
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency
• Flexibility with shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
