Chef Manager
€50,000 per annum
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to join our team This is a full-time salaried position working Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with a salary of €50,000 per annum.
About the Role:
As Chef Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Sodexo’s catering services on site. You will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared and delivered to the highest standard, while meeting health, safety, and budgetary requirements.This is a hands-on role where you will lead the team by example and support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily food preparation and service operations in line with company standards
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all team members are fully trained in food safety and hygiene
Plan and cost menus, manage ordering and stock control using company systems
Monitor food safety and health & safety compliance (HACCP, COSHH)
Maintain kitchen and storage cleanliness, equipment safety, and documentation
Ensure compliance with budgetary targets for labour, stock, and expenses
Support innovation, promotions, and client satisfaction initiatives
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar chef management role
706/1 & 706/2 or equivalent qualification in professional cookery
Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health & safety standards
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Previous experience managing people and working within budgets
