Chef
Skibbereen Residential Care centre is currently recruiting a full time Chef/Cook to join our team in our Nursing Home located in Baltimore road, Skibbereen, Co Cork.
The role is suited to an experienced Cook/Chef with a conscientious approach and experience in managing and delivering high standards.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a recognised qualification in food preparations and presentation.
Be able to work day time shift and be available to work a range of days over the full week including weekends
Will hold a valid HACCP certificate or willing to undergo training
Experience in home baking
Will be punctual, organised and reliable with good spoken and written English.
Ensure food is prepared and cooked in accordance with current food hygiene regulations and guidelines.
Planning of menus to meet the dietary requirements and requests of residents
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Job Type: Full-time [ 39 hours p/w]Salary: 34000 euros per annum, ie euros 16.77 per hour
