Qualified Financial Accountant
Our client in North Wicklow is seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to contribute to this companies financial success and join a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile monthly management accounts, delivering meaningful variance analysis and clear commentary.Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and all financial records.
Ensure intercompany balances are accurately reconciled and that foreign exchange is managed during the consolidation process.
Timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT, HMRC, and other statutory tax returns (including VAT, RTD, VIES, PAYE).
Perform financial analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
Provide analytical and financial support to the CFO as needed.
Oversee the full payroll cycle for group entities.
Prepare and file all payroll-related returns.
Manage the supplier ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Promote collaboration across the company and maintain strong communication with internal departments and external partners.
Keep ahead of industry developments and best practices.
Support on various ad-hoc finance projects and assist with financial research when required.
Key Requirements:
Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Solid technical accounting expertise.
Demonstrated experience in producing financial statements, management accounts, and conducting financial analysis.
Sound knowledge of Irish tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
Experience with AccountsIQ is considered an advantage.
For You:
Full-time permanent role.€50,000 - €60,000 DOE.
Located in North Wicklow.
Hybrid working and flexible schedule.

23 days annual leave.
