Osborne is proud to be working with a well-established NGO in Dublin 2 to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 1-year fixed-term contract, with potential to roll further. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to contribute to a busy and dynamic finance function
Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will take responsibility for supporting financial reporting, budgeting, policy development, and funding administration while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Salary: €50,000
Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
Produce budgets and performance against budget reports at funding agreement level.Support the Finance Director in updating and implementing financial policies and procedures, including documentation and staff training.
Contribute to the month-end process, including control account reconciliations, review of accounts receivable and payable, bank and cash management, and cost allocations.
Assist in the preparation of documents and supporting information for spend-based claims, invoices, grant applications, donation requests, membership, and other funding requirements.
Contribute to ad hoc projects as required, such as the Annual Report, insurance processes, and financial estimates for funding proposals.
Requirements of the Financial Accountant:
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in an accounting role.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and proven ability to deliver accurate reporting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and financial systems.

Salary of €50,000.- year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal.
Standard office hours with early finish on Fridays.
