Tax Manager - Senior Tax Manager - Limerick, Dublin or Galway

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with a leading accountancy firm, who are seeking a Tax manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of experienced tax professionals and work closely with senior management.

You will be trusted with your own portfolio of clients and have the responsibility to lead and guide more junior members of the team through areas of tax and processes. The role offers you the flexibility of hybrid working and the opportunity to join an excellent team culture.

• Overseeing the tax compliance requirements for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Preparation and/or review of tax returns across all tax heads, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, and VAT returns.
• Identifying and resolving tax issues while advising on tax planning opportunities for clients.
• Providing expert advice on the tax implications of commercial decisions.
• Collaborating with team members to plan and deliver professional tax services.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of tax compliance policies and procedures.
• Interpreting legislation and staying updated on changes in tax laws.
• Reviewing and preparing supporting documentation, such as agreements.
• Handling communication with Revenue on behalf of clients.
• Playing an active role in training and mentoring junior staff members.

• Qualified tax accountant with 2/3 years post qualification experience.
• Experience working as a senior accountant and competent in managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Experience of working on corporation tax compliance and on tax consultancy assignments.
• Team-lead or supervisory experience is desirable.
• Display commitment, effort, motivation, and initiative in all business dealings.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
