Our residential care home in Co. Meath is a medium secure unit that provides 24/7 support for up to three male service users with acquired brain injury and complex mental health needs. Our goal is to create a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment that promotes recovery, personal growth, and independence.
About the Role
You will work as a Support Worker within a committed multidisciplinary team, supporting service users to develop daily living skills, confidence, and independence. This role plays a crucial part in helping individuals transition toward more independent living or community integration, where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred support in line with individual care and rehabilitation plans.Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Encourage and support access to meaningful activities and community involvement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent, safe, and nurturing environment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Working Hours
This is a 24/7 service and you will be required to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.
