The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Engineer to join our expanding team in Dublin. Supporting a VIP client, you will play a crucial role in delivering first-class technical support both remotely and on-site. No two days will be the same as you tackle a wide range of IT challenges with a mix of technical expertise and outstanding customer service.

This role requires being on-site with the client 3–4 days per week in Dublin, ensuring prompt, high-quality support and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key technical point of contact for our VIP client, delivering professional support both remotely and face-to-face.
  • Promptly address user inquiries, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve a variety of IT issues across hardware, software, and networking.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and diagnosis of reported problems, applying effective troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Provide clear technical guidance to end-users, including step-by-step instructions and workarounds where necessary.
  • Accurately document all incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting processes within the ticketing system to support tracking and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing feedback and suggestions.
  • Maintain a high standard of service, representing T-Tech’s values and commitment to excellence on-site at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Field Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, or similar technical support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft Windows, Office 365, networking principles, and general IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, software, and cloud-based systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a proactive and professional approach to client support.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple incidents efficiently.
  • Full clean driving licence
