Urban Contractors Ltd is seeking 4 Construction Technicians – Formwork Support to join our project team in Drumnahinchin, Castleshane, Co. Monaghan. The successful candidates will assist with concrete formwork operations and provide technical support on residential construction projects.

Salary: €34,000 per annum

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organise construction materials and prefabricated formwork components.
• Assist in basic assembly of formwork elements under supervision.
• Operate small tools and equipment safely in line with site procedures.
• Support quality assurance checks, including measuring and reporting site data.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Provide technical and logistical support to site supervisors in relation to formwork preparation and project activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and operatives to ensure smooth site operations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 year’s relevant experience in construction, concrete or related work.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and safe site practices.
• Willingness to undertake a structured training programme (2 years) in formwork support and safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
