Job Description:
The Golden Eagle Bar & Restaurant is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our culinary team. We are committed to delivering high-quality dishes in a warm and welcoming environment. The Head Chef will play a central role in menu planning, kitchen leadership, and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute a creative, high-quality menu aligned with the restaurant’s concept and identity.
Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team, ensuring efficient daily operations and a positive work environment.
Plan and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
Maintain inventory levels, manage food purchasing, and liaise with suppliers to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients.
Oversee food presentation, portion control, and overall quality of dishes served.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
Monitor and control kitchen costs, minimising waste while maximising quality, efficiency, and profitability.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Head Chef or a related field is desirable
Strong culinary and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management abilities.
Annual Salary: 34,000Hourly Rate: 16,77
Hours per Week: 39h
