Job Overview
The Teleporter Driver is responsible for operating a telescopic forklift safely and efficiently on construction sites in the Midleton area. The role involves lifting, moving, and placing materials at height and across site while supporting trades and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate teleporter (telescopic forklift) to move materials around site
Lift and place materials such as blocks, pallets, steel, and timber
Work closely with site teams and follow banksman instructions
Load and unload deliveries safely
Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
Ensure loads are secure and within safe working limits
Follow site traffic management and safety plans
Maintain clear communication with site personnel
Keep machine clean and in good working condition
Skills & Requirements
Valid CSCS Teleporter / Telescopic Handler ticket
Safe Pass
Manual Handling certification
Previous experience operating a teleporter on construction sites
Good awareness of site safety procedures
Ability to work as part of a team
Full driver’s licence (preferred)
Working Conditions
Outdoor construction site in Midleton
Working at height when placing materials
Early starts and possible overtime
Full PPE required at all times
Compliance with Irish HSA safety regulations
