Senior HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This is a broad operational role responsible for day-to-day HR activities, ensuring best practice, compliance, and a positive employee experience.This position is offered as a 3-month fixed term contract with the potential to apply for permanency. The successful candidate will work onsite four days per week.

Reports to: CEO
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related queries.Support and advise on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, and disciplinary issues, ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation.
Manage and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
Oversee HR administration, including contracts, policies, and employee records.
Administer and maintain accurate data within the Timepoint HR system, ensuring integrity and timely updates for attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.
Support learning and development initiatives and training coordination.
Lead or support HR projects and process improvements as required.
Partner with managers to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies at all times.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a similar-sized or SME environment.CIPD qualification (Level 7 or above) or equivalent relevant HR qualification.
Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
Experience using the Timepoint HR system (or similar HR/time and attendance platforms) is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, approachable manner.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail with strong administrative and organisational skills.
Confident using HRIS and Microsoft Office tools.
