HR Generalist – 3-Month Fixed Term Contract
We are delighted to partner with our client, a well-established company in Cork to recruit an experienced HR Generalist for a 3-month fixed term contract. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit environment where your HR expertise will directly support culture, compliance, and employee experience.

Onsite, 4-day working week
Duties:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR queries, providing clear and timely guidance.
Support employee relations matters including performance, absence, and disciplinary processes while ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Oversee HR administration including contracts, policies, and maintenance of accurate employee records.
Administer and update the Timepoint HR system, ensuring data accuracy for attendance, leave, and payroll coordination.
Support learning and development initiatives, including training scheduling and documentation.
Lead or assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations.
Partner closely with managers to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Prepare HR reports and metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Ensure consistent GDPR compliance and adherence to company policies.
Skills:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role, ideally in an SME or similarly structured environment.
CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent HR qualification).
Strong understanding of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience with Timepoint or similar HR/time & attendance systems is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and professional approach.
Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
