Part Qualified Management Accountant

Calling all part qualified accountants for an exciting opportunity with a leading Irish and UK name based in Dublin city centre.

You will work as part of the finance team taking ownership of the management accounts and commercial activities for your assigned business entity. This is a lovely broad, hands on commercial and full month end close process, and will suit someone who likes to manage their own time day and desk whilst working as part of a team.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Management Accounts Process for the company
• Delivery of timely and accurate monthly and periodic management accounts and financial information, including margin and variance analysis
• Analysis and commentary on performance, providing recommendations and insights to the business
• Partner with the business in building annual plans and budgets and forecasts
• Treasury and Cash-flow forecasting
• Responsible for building an updated and automated planning model, incorporating all key financial and commercial metrics
• Prepare and file VAT returns
• Complete required RTDs (Return of Trading Details
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by your manager

Person Specification & Qualifications:

• Part/Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), IATI is advantageous,
• 2+ years' experience with accounts preparation and supporting month end close
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting is advantageous but not essential
• Proven track record of suggesting and implementing process improvements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change
• Inquisitive nature
• Ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines
• Team player with excellent communication skills
