This Supervisor will assist in overseeing the deployment, direct supervision and development of our CE participants. The role includes working with people from a diverse background including those previously engaged with the criminal justice system.
The ideal candidate will be a multitasking, people-oriented individual who is able to carry out the duties, goals and standards for Community Employment, as set out by the Department of Social Protection, whilst showing compassion and care as per the Jobcare ethos.
Responsibilities will include:- Deploying and supervising a number of people
- Identifying any barriers to work that individuals may have and help them access supports
- Establishing individual care plans and career goals for each participant on the work team
- Maintaining associated administration and records to a high standard
- Attending meetings and acting as an advocate for participants where necessary in case reviews etc
- Ensuring the Christian ethos of Jobcare is demonstrated to all people on the work team
- Ensuring Health & Safety, employment law, data protection and DSP standards are upheld
- Any other duties required of the role.
- Major Award at 3rd level (NFQ Level 6 major award or higher);
- ICT skills (eg. MS Office);
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience relevant to the post.
