My client based in Bandon is hiring for an Accounts Assistant. This role will play a pivotal part in the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the accounts receivable ledger and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Oversee the processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
  • Manage and respond to all customer queries relating to their accounts.
  • Record daily bank receipts and payments in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile and post cash receipts.
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
