Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Hours of Work: 19.5 Hours per week (Monday – Friday mornings)
Function of Position: The role of the Meals On Wheels Driver is to: Deliver MOW to people in the local area.
Duties Include:
- Drive van to deliver meals on wheels as per delivery sheets within
- Ensure meals are stored and delivered inline with all Health & Safety guidelines.
- Collect payment from people and issue receipts.
- Report any concerns about peoples’ health or wellbeing to the General
- Any other duties as required.
- A full clean driving license and at least one year’s driving experience
- Reasonably fit – we deliver to some blocks of flats with no lifts.
- Good people skills and empathetic approach.
