Accounts Technician
Location: Carlow / Kilkenny BorderType: Permanent, Full-Time (4 or 5 days per week, onsite)
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to manage the day-to-day finance function of the business. This is a fully onsite position with flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week. Reporting directly to management, the successful candidate will take ownership of wages, accounts administration, and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities- Processing weekly payroll for approximately 25 employees using Thesaurus Payroll software
- Managing supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting ROS returns
- Managing company banking including lodgements and reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Supporting management with ad hoc finance and administration duties
- Accounting Technician qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong payroll experience, ideally with Thesaurus Payroll
- Good working knowledge of ROS and general accounting practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Onsite parking provided
- Own office space
- Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week
