Technical Sales Manager

A Technical Sales Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based client supporting the sale, service and repair of mechanical and electrical engineering product. This is a superb opportunity to drive the growth of an established industry leader across multiple client sites.
Role of this position
This role will require a balance of strategic business development and relationship management, ensuring that existing customers continue to receive high levels of service while also uncovering new business opportunities.- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial and water services sectors.
- Proactively seek out new clients, developing a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key accounts, providing technical support and tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Account Executives to develop cross-selling and upselling strategies.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management in an industrial, mechanical, or electrical setting.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with engineers, procurement professionals, and technical stakeholders.
- Experience working CRM systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Knowledge of Munster manufacturing or waste water sectors required.
- Primarily Cork field based with about one day per week in Cork site.
