Bed Manager, Part-time opportunity New
Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications from experienced nurse managers for the role of Bed Manager. This newly established role is with a private Dublin based nursing home group, where the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Client Relationship Manager to oversee all scheduling, admissions and bed management within the homes.
You will hold responsibility for co-ordinating and guiding the implementation of the homes admission and discharge policies in consultation and collaboration with the care coordination team and senior management. Building close working relationships with local hospitals and other service providers will be key to the success of this role.
This is a part-time hybrid role and offers excellent career development opportunities within a growing organisation.
To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply:
- A Primary Qualification in a relevant health care related field (i.e. Nursing/HSCP, Business or Finance, Quality and HR)
- Demonstrable experience at Senior Management Level in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of HIQA as it applies to the nursing home sector would be highly desirable.
- Have demonstrated capacity to achieve results through multi-disciplinary and cross-sectoral working in a related service
- Career progression through continuing professional development
- Budgetary management experience
- Operational planning and implementation including strategic planning, tendering and SLA development.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
