Your New Mechanical Design Engineer Job:

We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for agriculture. You’ll work with farmers and sales teams to create innovative solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and animal welfare—taking projects from concept through design, production, and on-farm installation.

• Design efficient farm layouts and animal flow systems
• Manage projects from concept to installation
• Produce manufacturing drawings and collaborate with production
• Research and develop new products to enhance farming systems
• Apply Lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste

About You:

• Degree/experience in mechanical design engineering
• Strong interest or background in agriculture
• Skilled in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing
• Project management ability with strong attention to detail
• Full, clean driving licence

• See projects through from idea to farm installation
• Flat structure with real autonomy and impact
• Decent salary of up to 45k+ with progression opportunities (incl. team leadership)
• Hybrid option (1 day WFH after 6 months)
