What You’ll Do
As Assistant Manager, you will support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the club. Your role will be key in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring they enjoy our services responsibly. We are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a keen customer focus, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Industry experience is not essential – if you have a strong background in retail or hospitality (e.g. Assistant Manager in food, discount, or mobile retail, or hotel management), we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the club
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
- Handle customer queries professionally and in line with company policies
- Foster strong communication between staff and management
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing team
- Embrace new initiatives and drive improvements
- Maintain high operational standards
- Complete administrative tasks and ensure compliance with procedures and policies

What You Will Need- At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager in retail or hospitality
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel) and the ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to coach and develop team members to deliver great customer experiences
- Confidence to handle challenges calmly and professionally
- Ability to influence and engage with wider business teams
