Assistant Casino Manager – Waterford

Join a dynamic retail operations team as an Assistant Casino Manager in Co. Waterford. You will help lead a small, dedicated team in a fast-paced and engaging environment, backed by the experience and stability of a trusted business with over 40 years of success.

What You’ll Do

As Assistant Manager, you will support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the club. Your role will be key in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring they enjoy our services responsibly. We are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a keen customer focus, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Industry experience is not essential – if you have a strong background in retail or hospitality (e.g. Assistant Manager in food, discount, or mobile retail, or hotel management), we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the club
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
  • Handle customer queries professionally and in line with company policies
  • Foster strong communication between staff and management
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high-performing team
  • Embrace new initiatives and drive improvements
  • Maintain high operational standards
  • Complete administrative tasks and ensure compliance with procedures and policies

What You Will Need
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager in retail or hospitality
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel) and the ability to learn internal systems
  • Ability to coach and develop team members to deliver great customer experiences
  • Confidence to handle challenges calmly and professionally
  • Ability to influence and engage with wider business teams
